Love from NY to CA
A little over a year ago I had gotten out of a long seriously relationship. At least it was serious on my part. None the less, I was treated badly and had decided to give up the whole idea of being in a relationship for a while. During my free time I would go on webcam sites, and chat with people from all over the world. In one of these chats I met a boy name Jason... a GORGEOUS boy named Jason. He lives in California where as I live in New York. So right off the bat I knew nothing would happen... or so I thought. We talked for months, he has become my best friend. I would come home right after work to talk to him. I had always frowned on internet relationships, but I couldn't help myself. He had every quality I could ever ask for in a boy and he loved me in return.
Okay I know this is getting boring, I got bored re-reading it to myself. So I'll pick up the pace. Two weeks ago my plane landed in Los Angeles, my heart was racing as I got a text from him in the airport "meet me at the bottom of the escalators =]"... Half way down, I saw him. Like deer in headlights- I couldn't help but laugh. I felt like I had just come home from a long trip, even though I had never once been to CA before. I spent a week with him at his house, we went to santa monica pier, san diego, and saw bobby lee preform stand up. I can honestly say with out exaggerating, it was the best week of my life so far. The night before I left we hugged each other so tightly and tried to fight back the tears. Teasing each other playfully about it afterwards.
I don't mind if you don't get inspired to write a song about this, it just feels good to tell everyone that when the right one comes along, you KNOW. If you arn't sure, its not them.
